How to use

Secure the Bosch CYL‑9 bit in a compatible drill chuck, select rotary or hammer mode depending on the material and drill at a steady speed with even pressure. Start with a low speed to position the bit, then increase speed for drilling. Withdraw the bit occasionally to clear dust and prevent overheating. Use appropriate personal protective equipment and anchors or plugs suitable for a 6.5 mm hole when installing fixings.

Recommendations

For best results, use the bit in a drill with sufficient power for masonry work and select hammer mode only when drilling concrete or hard masonry. Replace the bit when wear reduces drilling efficiency or hole quality.
