MSI MAG 274QPF E20 computer monitor 68.6 cm (27 inch) 2560 x 1440 pixels Wide Quad HD LCD Black

MSI MAG 274QPF E20 is a 27" (68.6 cm) WQHD (2560 × 1440) Rapid IPS LCD monitor engineered for low latency and detailed imagery. The flat 27" panel combines a high 200 Hz refresh rate with a 0.5 ms (GtG, Min.) response time to reduce motion blur and improve clarity in fast-moving scenes. With 178°/178° viewing angles and 1000:1 typical contrast, the display offers stable colors across wide viewing positions. VESA mounting support and a black housing make the monitor suitable for both desktop and multi-monitor setups.

Advantages

The Rapid IPS panel delivers a very fast 0.5 ms response time and supports a 200 Hz refresh rate, which together minimise ghosting and stuttering in games or fast video. WQHD resolution (2560 × 1440) increases pixel density versus Full HD, giving sharper details for content creation, productivity and gaming. AI Vision features and a DisplayHDR 400 profile improve perceived contrast and highlight detail in dark or bright areas. Energy labels for SDR and HDR modes provide clear expectations for power use.

Suitable for

• Competitive and casual gaming, including FPS and racing titles
• Content creation and photo/video editing where higher resolution helps detail work
• General productivity and multi-window desktop workflows
• Home and office setups requiring VESA-compatible mounting

How to use

Place the monitor on a stable desk or attach it to a VESA-compatible arm or bracket. Connect to a compatible graphics source using the supplied display cable to achieve the native WQHD resolution and high refresh rates; ensure your GPU and cable support 200 Hz at 2560 × 1440. Adjust on-screen display settings to set brightness, contrast, response time and AI Vision modes according to your viewing environment. Use the monitor's built-in menu to enable adaptive sync if supported by your graphics card.

Recommendations

For gaming, pair the MSI MAG 274QPF E20 with a GPU and cables that support 200 Hz at WQHD to fully utilise the 0.5 ms response and adaptive sync. For colour-critical work, allow a short warm-up time and calibrate using a hardware calibrator if precise colour accuracy is required. Reduce blue light emission via the monitor's settings or software during extended evening use to lessen eye strain.
