Moka pot Maestro MR-1657-9-BEIGE aluminum stovetop coffee maker, 9-cup capacity

Aluminum stovetop moka pot Maestro MR-1657-9-BEIGE is a manual coffee maker designed to brew espresso-style coffee on gas or electric stoves. The unit consists of a lower water chamber, a filter basket for ground coffee and an upper collection chamber; its 9-cup capacity delivers concentrated coffee suitable for serving several small cups. Constructed from aluminum with a heat-resistant handle, the pot is intended for household use and small gatherings where a compact, stove-top brewing method is preferred.

Advantages

The Maestro moka pot provides a simple, mechanical brewing process that does not require electricity beyond the stove. Made of aluminum, it offers relatively fast heat conduction for consistent extraction and rapid brewing. Its 9-cup capacity makes it practical for serving multiple people, while the detachable filter basket simplifies dosing and cleaning. The heat-resistant handle and secure lid improve handling and reduce the risk of spills during pouring.

How to use

Fill the lower chamber with cold water up to the safety valve level, place the filter basket and add medium-fine ground coffee without tamping, then assemble the pot by screwing the upper chamber firmly in place. Place the moka pot on a medium heat on a compatible stove and monitor the extraction: coffee will begin to flow into the upper chamber as pressure builds. When the flow slows and you hear a gurgle, remove the pot from heat and allow the crema to settle briefly before pouring. Let the pot cool before disassembling for cleaning.

Recommendations

For best results, use freshly ground coffee tailored for moka pots and moderate heat to avoid overheating. Clean the filter basket and chambers after each use and avoid abrasive cleaners. Do not use on induction cooktops unless the manufacturer confirms compatibility; check the handle and lid for secure fit before each use.
