Moka pot JATA HCAF2403 0.2 L Black Stainless steel

The JATA HCAF2403 moka pot is a manual stovetop coffee maker with a 0.2 L (200 ml) capacity designed to prepare rich, aromatic coffee using the traditional Moka brewing method. Constructed from aluminium with a black stainless-steel appearance and a full induction-ready base, it is suitable for use on all cookers including induction hobs. The exterior features a durable oven-baked paint finish applied at 280ºC and the pot includes a silicone gasket and a specially designed solid handle with anti-burn properties.

Advantages

The full induction bottom provides stable heat transfer on induction and other cooktops. The oven-baked exterior finish at 280ºC increases surface durability and facilitates cleaning. A solid, ergonomically designed handle reduces the risk of burns while pouring, and the included silicone ring ensures a reliable seal for consistent extraction. Its compact 0.2 L capacity is suitable for preparing up to three small cups of coffee.

Suitable for

• Brewing traditional stovetop Moka coffee
• Use on induction, gas, electric, and ceramic cookers
• Preparing small servings (up to 3 espresso-sized cups, 200 ml total)

How to use

Fill the lower chamber with water up to the safety valve level, place finely ground coffee into the filter basket without tamping, assemble the moka pot and screw the top and bottom sections together securely. Place the moka pot on a suitable cooker and heat until coffee starts to flow into the upper chamber; remove from heat once extraction is complete and pours intermittently. Allow to cool slightly before handling and pouring to avoid burns.

Recommendations

Use medium-fine ground coffee suitable for Moka pots, preheat the water slightly to shorten extraction time, and replace the silicone gasket periodically to maintain a proper seal and consistent coffee quality.
