How to use

Attach the supplied guitar mount to the instrument body or soundhole according to the instrument’s shape, positioning the microphone capsule toward the area where the desired tonal balance is obtained (near the bridge for articulation or slightly towards the soundhole for warmth). Connect the microphone to a compatible microphone preamp or mixer using an appropriate cable and set input gain to avoid clipping while preserving dynamics. Monitor the signal through headphones or PA to fine-tune placement for the preferred sound.

Recommendations

For reliable results, start with a neutral position about 5–15 cm from the sound source and adjust placement incrementally to find the best balance between warmth and clarity. Use a microphone preamp with low noise and sufficient headroom, and consider mild EQ adjustments to reduce unwanted low rumble or to enhance presence if needed.
