The Microconnect UTP610R is a 10 m Cat6 U/UTP networking cable with RJ-45 connectors at both ends. It supports Cat6 performance up to 250 MHz and data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s, and is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 installations. The cable includes strain-relief boots (snaggles) to protect the connector during installation and is suitable for home, small office and entertainment network connections, patch panels, keystone jacks and wall outlets.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your switch, modem, router or device and the other to the destination port (wall outlet, patch panel, keystone jack or another device). Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid tight kinks; use the strain-relief boot when pulling the cable through confined installation spaces to protect the connector.

Recommendations

For reliable performance maintain bend radius and avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or high-voltage cables.
