How to use

Choose any unit in a multi-pack as the main router and complete the initial network configuration using the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. After the main router is set up, power on the remaining units and they will automatically join the Mesh network. Place satellite units in rooms or floors with weak signal to eliminate blind spots; use wired backhaul if needed by connecting Ethernet cables to the auto-sensing Gigabit ports. For additional units, add them via the app and monitor network status and connected devices from the app interface.

Recommendations

For best coverage, position nodes centrally in each area you want to serve and avoid placing units inside closed cabinets or behind large metal objects. Use the 5 GHz band for higher-speed applications and the 2.4 GHz band for better wall penetration. If gaming or low-latency applications are critical on Xiaomi/Redmi phones, enable device prioritisation in the app.
