The Yealink RCH240 is a managed L2+ Gigabit Ethernet AV switch with 24 RJ-45 ports (10/100/1000) and PoE support. Designed for AV-over-IP deployments and meeting-room systems, it supports Yealink AV protocols as well as industry standards such as Dante and AES67. The switch provides a 56 Gbit/s switching capacity, a 370W PoE+ power budget, four SFP fiber uplinks and rack-mount form factor for integration into professional AV and network racks.

How to use

Install the RCH240 in a standard 19-inch rack and connect uplink fiber or copper to the core network. Attach Yealink AVoIP encoders/decoders, cameras, IP phones or access points to the RJ-45 PoE ports. For basic Yealink AV deployments the switch supports plug-and-play operation; for multi-VLAN, QoS or advanced multicast setups use the web-based management interface to configure VLANs, QoS policies and IGMP settings as required.

Recommendations

Use the RCH240 with Yealink MTR systems and Yealink EN300/DE300 encoders/decoders for optimal interoperability. Reserve sufficient PoE budget for power-hungry devices and configure VLANs and QoS to separate AV streams from general data traffic to ensure consistent audio/video performance.
