How to use

Connect the USB Type A end of the extension directly to a compatible host (or to the allowed first unit of the Lindy Active Extension System Pro when creating longer runs). Attach the USB Type C connector to the peripheral device. If the connected device requires additional power, plug the supplied USB-to-DC adapter cable into an appropriate external power supply. For devices with high power demands consider using a power supply up to 5 V, 3 A. When building longer extensions, ensure the final segment is the 10 m Type A to C Active Extension No. 43376.

Recommendations

Only connect one of the approved Lindy system units (No. 43157, 43158, 43229 or 43361) directly to the computer as the first unit when assembling longer runs; the 10 m Type A to C extension (No. 43376) must be used as the final segment. For most peripherals a 5 V, 1 A smartphone power supply is sufficient, but use up to 5 V, 3 A when required by high-power devices such as hubs or certain storage devices.
