The Lian Li UNI FAN TL Wireless series combines efficient 120 mm cooling with LIAN LI’s 2.4 GHz wireless sync system to control lighting effects and fan speed without traditional hub wiring. The TL LCD Wireless model adds a 1.6" circular LCD (60 Hz) for customizable display of system data via L-Connect 3. Both LED and LCD versions can be mixed in a single cluster and are compatible with the L-Wireless Sync Controller, which supports multiple channels and a wide range of LIAN LI wireless devices.

How to use

Install each fan group to a 12V PWM header on the motherboard or use a 1-to-3 SATA splitter cable for power. For non-LCD TL Wireless fans, a single PWM cable provides LED and motor power. For TL LCD Wireless fans, connect both the PWM cable for motor/LED power and a USB 2.0 9-pin cable to the motherboard to enable LCD functionality. Use the L-Wireless Sync Controller to assign channels for each group; each group occupies one channel and the controller can transmit across up to 10 channels. When mixing LCD and non-LCD fans, use the LCD receiver. Cable length can be managed with the receiver organizer.

Recommendations

For larger builds, use a powered USB splitter or hub when adding many TL LCD Wireless fans: a USB splitter without SATA supports up to 6 TL LCD fans, while a USB splitter with SATA power supports up to 9. A single compatible motherboard can support up to 20 TL LCD Wireless fans and the L-Wireless Controller can manage up to 40 TL (non-LCD) fans when all 10 channels are used.
