The Lian Li UNI FAN TL Wireless series introduces 2.4GHz wireless sync technology to control lighting effects and fan speed, providing efficient cooling, low noise, and flexible installation. The UNI FAN TL Wireless and TL LCD Wireless remove the need for traditional hub connections by using the L-Wireless Sync Controller, which transmits signals wirelessly and powers fans via a motherboard 4-pin PWM header or a SATA power cable. The LCD version requires an additional USB 2.0 9-pin connection to set and power the LCD screen. Models can be mixed within a single cluster by using the LCD version receiver where necessary.

How to use

Install the fan in your case or on a radiator using the standard mounting points and interlock adjacent UNI FAN modules if desired for streamlined cable management. Connect the fan group to a 12V PWM header on the motherboard or use a 1-to-3 SATA splitter cable for power. For TL LCD Wireless units, attach the USB 2.0 9-pin cable to the motherboard to enable the LCD screen and link the fan group to the L-Wireless Sync Controller. Use the receiver’s organizer to shorten cable lengths where necessary and follow the manufacturer instructions when combining LCD and non-LCD fans in a single cluster.

Recommendations

For stable LCD performance in larger builds, use a USB splitter with additional power: a USB 2.0 splitter hub without SATA supports up to 6 TL LCD Wireless fans, a splitter with SATA support (for example, an external hub) supports up to 9 TL LCD Wireless fans, and a single motherboard can support up to 20 TL LCD Wireless fans when properly powered.
