We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.

Triple Video Displays

The SD4842P supports up to 3 external monitors (1080p @ 120Hz*) via 1 x DP and 2 x HDMI® connections.**For maximum resolution, the DSC-enabled laptop, docking station, monitor and laptop all need to support DSC v1.2.

Plug-and-Play

A simple plug-and-play solution for Thunderbolt™ 4, Thunderbolt™ 3, USB4® and USB-C® Alt-Mode laptops running Windows 10 or above. No drivers or downloads required.

Up to 100W Power Delivery

Supports up to 100W laptop charging using a compact GaN technology power supply unit. The plug-and-charge feature allows continuous charging of connected devices even when the host laptop is disconnected.

Multiple Productivity Ports

Maximise desktop space by mounting your docking station out of the way. Mounting bracket sold separately (K34050WW). Protect your investment with a Kensington cable lock (K65020EU or K65021WW), sold separately.

How to use

Connect the docking station to a compatible USB-C port on your laptop using the included cable. Attach external displays to the available HDMI ports according to your desired display arrangement (extended or mirrored). Plug peripherals such as external drives, keyboards and mice into the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports. Connect a network cable to the Ethernet port for wired LAN access. When connected to a laptop that supports USB-C power delivery, the docking station will supply up to 100W to charge and power the device while peripherals and displays remain connected.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use high-quality HDMI cables and a USB-C port on the host device that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and power delivery. Ensure your laptop’s USB-C port supports the required power and video capabilities to take full advantage of triple video output and 100W charging. Update host device drivers and firmware as recommended by the laptop manufacturer to ensure compatibility with multi-monitor setups and Ethernet connectivity.
