The Laserliner ThermoSpot Plus Indoor/outdoor is an infrared non-contact thermometer for surface temperature measurements from -38 °C to 600 °C. Designed for use at up to 12 m distance, it has an adjustable emissivity (0.01–1.00) and displays the highest measured value during continuous measurement. The compact device is powered by AAA batteries and features an illuminated LCD and rubberised housing for impact protection.

How to use

Point the ThermoSpot Plus at the surface to be measured and align the 8-point laser circle to cover the target area. Press the measurement trigger to take a reading; the display will show the current value and, while measuring continually, the highest value detected (max. function). Adjust the emissivity setting according to the material of the target surface for more accurate results. Use the data hold function to keep the most recent reading visible for recording.

Recommendations

For best results, measure from a distance where the laser circle matches the area of interest and avoid measuring through glass or transparent materials. Allow the device and the measured surface to stabilise to room temperature if moving between significantly different environments. Replace AAA batteries when the low-battery indicator appears.
