Detect wood studs up to 40 mm deep, ferrous metals up to 60 mm, non-ferrous metals up to 40 mm, and live AC wires up to 50 mm with the Laserliner StarFinder Plus. This wall and stud scanner uses automatic calibration and an LCD with visual indicators to pinpoint hidden objects behind drywall, plaster and other non-metallic surfaces.

Overview

The StarFinder Plus is a compact detector for renovation, electrical and plumbing work. It identifies wooden beams, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and live AC wiring. The automatic calibration eliminates manual adjustment, while the LCD shows the detected material type and signal strength. An acoustic warning sounds when a target is found, and the device shuts off automatically after about two minutes to save battery.
