xTool F2 Ultra is a 2-in-1 laser engraving and cutting machine that combines a 60 W MOPA laser with a 40 W diode laser to expand material capabilities and processing modes. The device features dual 48 MP cameras, AI-driven material recognition and autofocus positioning for precise work across metals, plastics, wood, glass and other materials. A 220 x 220 mm work area (expandable to approx. 220 x 500 mm with an optional Auto Streamline™ feeder) and maximum engraving speeds up to 15,000 mm/s support efficient small-to-medium production and craft projects.

How to use

Install the pre-assembled xTool F2 Ultra on a stable, level surface and connect the power supply and controller using the supplied cables. Open xTool Creative Space (xcs) on a connected computer or use the touchscreen controller to import your design file (supported formats: SVG, DXF, JPG, PNG, etc.). Place the workpiece in the 220 x 220 mm work area (or use the optional feeder for longer pieces) and let the dual 48 MP cameras perform autofocus and positioning. Select material or allow the AI material detection to choose optimal settings, verify the preview and safety enclosure, then start the job. Monitor the process and use the emergency stop if required.

Recommendations

Use the recommended material settings from the xTool Creative Space library and run a short test on scrap material before full production. Ensure adequate ventilation or the extraction system is active, keep the cover closed during operation, and follow safety instructions for Class 4 laser equipment.
