Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

The KitchenAid Electric kettle 1.7 L 2400 W in Black combines a 1.7-litre capacity with 2400 W of power to bring water to a boil quickly. The kettle features a stainless steel body, a removable filter and a 360-degree cordless base for easy placement and lifting. An automatic shut-off function stops heating when the water reaches boiling point, enhancing safety during everyday use. The minimalist black finish fits contemporary kitchen interiors.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance and durable surface performance while remaining simple to wipe clean. The 2400 W heating element reduces wait times compared with lower-power kettles, making it suitable for frequent use. A removable filter prevents limescale and debris from reaching the cup and can be taken out for rinsing. The 360-degree base allows the kettle to be placed on the stand from any angle, and the automatic shut-off reduces the risk of dry-boil overheating.

Suitable for

  • Boiling water for tea, coffee and instant beverages
  • Preparing hot water for cooking tasks such as noodles or instant soups
  • Daily household use in apartments, offices or dormitories
  • Users who value a compact kettle with fast heating

Key specifications

  • Water tank capacity: 1.7 L
  • Power: 2400 W
  • Material: stainless steel body
  • Product colour: Black
  • Weight: 1.4 kg
  • 360-degree cordless base for easy placement
  • Removable filter for limescale and debris
  • Automatic shut-off at boiling point

How to use

Fill the kettle with cold water up to the indicated maximum capacity and place it on the 360-degree base. Close the lid securely and switch the kettle on using the power control. The kettle will heat the water and automatically switch off when boiling is reached. After use, lift the kettle off the base to pour. Allow the unit to cool before opening the lid for refilling or before removing the filter for cleaning.

Recommendations

Descale the kettle regularly according to local water hardness to maintain heating efficiency and prolong service life. Clean the removable filter under running water and wipe the stainless steel exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the base or electrical parts in water; follow safety instructions to avoid damage.
