How to use

Connect the PSR-E483 to a power source and, if required, to an external amplifier or powered speakers. Use the touch-sensitive keys to control dynamics while selecting voices and accompaniment styles from the panel. For integration with a computer or DAW, connect via USB-MIDI and configure the keyboard as a MIDI input device in your music software; this enables MIDI recording, virtual instrument triggering and external control. Use the on-board learning functions to practice scales, chords and songs, and employ accompaniment modes to create full arrangements during solo performances or songwriting sessions.

Recommendations

For best workflow when composing or recording, pair the PSR-E483 with a computer or tablet via USB-MIDI and use a DAW to capture MIDI performances and expand sound options. When performing live, monitor levels through powered speakers or a small PA and use the touch response to add expressive nuance to backing accompaniments.
