Kettle ALESSI 9093 BB black — stovetop water kettle, whistle, stainless steel, 2.2 L

The ALESSI 9093 BB black stovetop water kettle is a functional kitchen utensil designed for boiling and pouring hot water. Constructed from stainless steel with a black finish, the kettle holds up to 2.2 L and includes a built-in whistle that signals when water reaches boiling point. The shape and spout are engineered to enable a controlled pour, while the heat-resistant handle improves handling safety on gas and electric hobs.

Advantages

The stainless steel body ensures corrosion resistance and simple cleaning, while the 2.2 L capacity accommodates several cups or small gatherings without frequent refilling. The audible whistle provides a clear boiling indicator, and the heat-resistant handle reduces the risk of burns during pouring. The kettle’s flat base is compatible with standard gas and electric stove tops, and the black finish gives a neutral, easy-to-coordinate appearance in most kitchens.

Suitable for

• Boiling water for tea and coffee at home
• Preparing hot water for instant meals and beverages
• Small household use and small social gatherings
• Use on standard gas and electric hob surfaces

Key specifications

• Material: stainless steel with black finish
• Capacity: 2.2 litres
• Type: stovetop kettle with whistle
• Handle: heat-resistant ergonomic handle for safe pouring
• Compatibility: suitable for standard gas and electric hobs

How to use

Fill the kettle with cold water up to, but not exceeding, the 2.2 L capacity. Place the kettle on a suitable burner of a gas or electric hob and heat until the whistle sounds, indicating boiling. When the whistle sounds, turn off the heat and lift the kettle using the heat-resistant handle. Pour carefully from the spout to avoid splashing; lower the kettle back onto the hob or a heatproof surface to cool before refilling or cleaning.

Recommendations

To prolong the kettle’s service life, descale periodically if you have hard water, avoid aggressive cleaners or abrasive pads on the finished surface, and never heat the kettle when empty. Allow the kettle to cool before washing and dry thoroughly to prevent water spotting.
