How to use
Insert the T-Bar™ lock head into the Kensington Security Slot™ on your laptop or compatible device until it engages. Loop the carbon steel cable around a fixed object such as a desk leg or anchor point and secure the cable end to the lock head. Ensure the cable pivot allows proper alignment and rotate if necessary to achieve firm engagement. Keep the key in a safe place and, if needed, use the Register & Retrieve™ service to obtain replacement keys.
Recommendations
For optimal security, attach the cable to a solid, immovable structure and avoid weak anchor points. Periodically inspect the lock and cable for signs of wear or corrosion, and register your key code with the Register & Retrieve™ program to simplify replacement if a key is lost.
