Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Problem with an order right now? Write to [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] — answered the same business day. The letter also lists our group and store owners' contacts.

JBL OpenSound Technology
OpenSound technology in the JBL Soundgear Sense earbuds provides a natural sound experience, with almost zero sound leakage. Thanks to this innovation, the sound pressure is directed through waves towards the ears, and at the same time an opposite phase reduces sound dispersion. You enjoy your sound, while your privacy is protected. Also, the JBL Soundgear Sense rest on the curve of your ears without obstructing your ear canal, so that you can hear both your sound and the world around in full comfort.

Enhanced Dynamic Sound
Two smartly designed 16.2mm drivers - one per each earbud - feature a unique bass enhancing algorithm, providing an amazing no compromise sound experience with punchy bass and pure sound allowing you to enjoy every beat while hearing the world around you.

Up to 24 hours of battery life, plus speed charge
For long-lasting fun, listen wirelessly for up to 6 hours and get another 18 from the charging case. If you're in a hurry, use the convenient Type-C USB cable—a quick 15-minute charge gives you 4 additional hours of music.

Hybrid open-ear headphones with detachable neckband
JBL Soundgear Sense true wireless open-ear headphones feature JBL OpenSound Technology with air conduction, which doesn't completely close off your ear canal, making them comfortable enough to wear for hours. Flexible earhooks rotate, so you can choose whether you want to focus on your music or calls, or let in more sound from the world around you. A detachable neckband provides an even more secure fit while you're working out, and an IP54 rating means that they can stand up to sweat—or even a light rainfall. Your voice will be crystal clear, even on a windy day, thanks to four voice mics. Customize how you use the intuitive touch controls on each earbud to handle your music and calls with the My JBL Headphones app. JBL Soundgear Sense is as adaptable as you are.
