How to use

Mount the dome camera in the desired outdoor location ensuring the mounting surface supports the unit and provides suitable cable routing for the RJ-45 Ethernet connector or DC power. Connect to a PoE-enabled switch or injector (IEEE 802.3af) or supply appropriate 12 V DC. Configure network settings and user access through the camera web interface or compatible NVR/software, set recording parameters (resolution, frame rate, bit rate) and enable features such as motion detection, privacy masking and WDR as needed. Adjust pan (0–355°) and tilt (0–75°) to frame the target area.

Recommendations

To maintain reliable outdoor operation, avoid direct contact with water at cable entry points, use proper sealing around connectors, and ensure firmware is kept up to date. For best image results enable WDR in scenes with strong backlight and choose H.265+ to reduce storage requirements.
