Smart Mode

If you switch to the Smart Mode, you can enjoy black and white night vision. The spotlights automatically turn on upon detection of suspicious motion, which shows you vivid full-color image when something happens.

Full Color Mode

Thanks to the two built-in spotlights, your night vision is now lit up and in full-color. Full Color Mode also offers outdoor lighting for your home.

Infrared Mode

How to use

Place the IMOU Ranger 2C Pro on a stable desk or flat surface with a clear view of the monitored area and connect it to power. Use the Imou app to complete network setup via Wi‑Fi (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) or wired Ethernet, follow on-screen pairing steps, and assign a device name and location. Configure detection preferences in the app to enable person or pet detection, set Privacy Mode schedules, and choose the preferred night-vision mode. For continuous recording, select local storage (microSD), NVR, or cloud options within the app.

Recommendations

Position the camera at a height and angle that capture the main activity area without obstructions. Use Privacy Mode when needed to protect personal privacy at home. Enable AOR mode to balance continuous coverage and storage efficiency, and choose H.265 compression for longer recording on local storage. For reliable remote access, prefer a stable 5 GHz or Ethernet connection where available.
