Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Problem with an order right now? Write to [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] — answered the same business day. The letter also lists our group and store owners' contacts.

Shipping & Returns

The Hikvision Pro Series DS-2CD2347G2H-LISU/SL(2.8MM)(EF) is a 4 MP Smart Hybrid Light fixed turret network camera that delivers 2688 x 1520 resolution for clear surveillance images. Designed for indoor and outdoor placement, the camera offers a 360° rotation angle with a horizontal field of view of 111.1° and a vertical field of view of 57.6°. Equipped with a CMOS sensor, the unit supports ColorVu technology for improved imaging in varied lighting, video motion detection, wired Ethernet connectivity and a detection range up to 61 m with object recognition at around 12 m.

Advantages

The camera provides high-resolution day-and-night imaging while keeping bandwidth and storage needs efficient. Its ColorVu-enabled optics enhance color reproduction in low-light conditions. Built for wired installations, the turret form factor and ceiling-mount compatibility simplify mounting in many application scenarios. The model includes built-in video motion detection to support event-driven recording and alerts.

Suitable for

  • Retail stores and shops
  • Office and public building surveillance
  • Residential complex entrances and common areas
  • Parking lots and outdoor perimeters (covered mounting)
  • Warehouse aisles and indoor production floors

Key specifications

  • Resolution: 2688 x 1520 (4 MP)
  • Lens / focal length: 2.8 mm
  • Field of view: Horizontal 111.1°, Vertical 57.6°, 360° rotation angle
  • Sensor type: CMOS
  • Frame rate: 30 fps
  • Detection range: up to 61 m; recognition at approx. 12 m
  • Connectivity: Wired Ethernet (no Wi‑Fi)
  • Placement: Indoor & outdoor
  • Mounting type: Ceiling
  • Color: White
  • Weight: 0.82 kg

How to use

Mount the camera using a compatible ceiling bracket and connect it to a PoE-capable network switch or to a power source and Ethernet network following local installation standards. Configure the camera via Hikvision configuration tools or compatible VMS, set resolution to 2688 x 1520 at up to 30 fps, and enable video motion detection and ColorVu features as needed. Position and rotate the turret to cover the intended area, then fine-tune exposure and detection settings to balance image quality and storage use.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor performance, install the camera under shelter or with appropriate protective housing where it may be exposed to direct weather. Use PoE networking to simplify power and data cabling, and adjust motion detection sensitivity to reduce false alarms in high-traffic areas.
