Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Problem with an order right now? Write to [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] — answered the same business day. The letter also lists our group and store owners' contacts.
Know our brand? Leave an honest review, send us a screenshot, and pick a free gift — shipped free of charge within 1–2 business days.

The Hikvision DS-2CD2687G2HT-LIZS is an 8 MP Smart Hybrid Light motorized varifocal bullet network camera designed for outdoor wired installations. It delivers 3840 x 2160 resolution, a 2.8–12 mm motorized lens, CMOS sensor imaging and a 360° rotation capability for flexible aiming. The camera combines ColorVu technology for full‑color imaging in low light with smart features intended for varied security scenarios and supports long-range detection up to approximately 216 m.

Advantages

This Hikvision bullet camera provides high-resolution 8 MP imagery while minimizing bandwidth and storage through efficient encoding. The motorized 2.8–12 mm varifocal lens makes on-site framing and zoom adjustments simple without manual lens changes. ColorVu illumination ensures clear color images at night or in low-light conditions, and the camera’s smart analytics support situational awareness for a range of monitoring tasks. The robust outdoor housing is suited to wired network deployments.

Suitable for

  • Perimeter and outdoor area surveillance
  • Parking lots and vehicle access points
  • Entrance and gate monitoring
  • Large outdoor sites requiring long-range detection

Key specifications

  • Image sensor: CMOS, 8 MP (3840 x 2160)
  • Lens: Motorized varifocal 2.8–12 mm
  • Form factor: Bullet, outdoor
  • Connectivity: Wired network camera (Ethernet)
  • Long-range detection: up to ~216 m (manufacturer data)
  • Special features: ColorVu full‑color low‑light imaging, smart hybrid light, deep‑learning analytics support
  • Rotation: 360° adjustable aiming
  • Brand / MPN / EAN: Hikvision / DS-2CD2687G2HT-LIZS(2.8-12MM) / 6942160416823

How to use

Mount the camera in a suitable outdoor location with a clear view of the monitored area and connect it to a PoE-enabled switch or to a power source and Ethernet network per installation guidelines. Use the motorized 2.8–12 mm lens to set framing and zoom via the camera’s web interface or supported configuration software. Configure network settings, recording schedule and desired analytics rules through the Hikvision management platform or compatible NVR. Ensure cabling and mounting follow local installation and weatherproofing practices.

Recommendations

Install the camera at a height and angle that maximizes field of view while minimizing obstructions; use the motorized lens to fine-tune coverage. For reliable night-time color imaging, ensure ColorVu illumination is not obstructed. Regularly check firmware updates and configure secure network access to maintain system performance and security.
