How to use

Install the camera on a stable ceiling or wall surface using appropriate screws and anchors for the mounting location. Aim the turret to cover the intended field of view and secure the housing to prevent movement. Connect the camera to your network via Ethernet cable to provide both data and, where applicable, power through the network infrastructure. Configure the camera’s IP settings, frame rate, resolution and motion detection parameters through the compatible Hikvision management software or network video recorder interface. Verify the live view and recording settings, then adjust angle and motion sensitivity as needed for reliable detection.

Recommendations

For optimal outdoor performance, mount the camera under a small overhang where possible to reduce direct exposure to rain and sun. Use shielded Ethernet cabling and surge protection for installations exposed to frequent electrical storms.
