How to use

Mount the dome camera on a suitable ceiling or wall ensuring a stable wired Ethernet connection and proper power supply according to the manufacturer instructions. Configure the panoramic overview and detail channels in the camera web interface or VMS, set patrol patterns and zoom presets, and enable smart tracking and perimeter protection rules as needed. Test IR performance and adjust angle and focus so the overview provides full 180° coverage while the detail channel captures critical areas for identification.

Recommendations

For optimal results, install the camera at a height and distance that balance panoramic coverage with the detail channel’s zoom range; use PoE-enabled switches where possible and regularly verify firmware updates and configuration backups.
