AXIS Q9227-SLV Corner is a compact, ligature-resistant indoor IP security camera for ceiling mounting. It records up to 5 MP (2880×2160) at 30 fps using a 1/1.7" CMOS sensor and provides 115° horizontal and 89.2° vertical coverage. The unit includes a hidden speaker and microphone with an on/off switch and voice enhancer, invisible 940 nm IR illumination for surveillance in complete darkness, and a white LED for color detail. The camera supports H.264/H.265 with Axis Zipstream to reduce bandwidth and storage needs, and is rated for harsh conditions with IK11, IP66, IP6K9K and IP69 protection. Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR improve image quality in challenging light.

How to use

Install the camera on the ceiling corner according to the mounting instructions, ensuring the tilt is set within the −10° to 10° range for intended coverage. Connect to a wired Ethernet network for power and data (PoE where supported). Configure video stream, compression (H.264/H.265) and Axis Zipstream settings in the camera’s management interface.
