The AXIS Q1971-E Bullet IP security camera provides continuous thermal detection and visual verification for indoor and outdoor surveillance. Using a thermal sensor (effective resolution 384 x 288) and a 768 x 576 video output, the camera detects heat signatures 24/7 regardless of light or most weather conditions. Five lens options (7, 13, 19, 25 and 35 mm) enable flexible installation and a horizontal field of view of about 10.5° with a vertical angle of 8°. The microbolometer-based thermal imaging and electronic image stabilization deliver stable video, and thermal palettes make different heat sources easier to interpret. Because thermal images do not allow personal identification, the camera supports privacy-sensitive monitoring.
