IP Camera Hikvision DS-2CD1367G2H-LIU 4mm PL — 4 mm fixed lens, PoE support

The Hikvision DS-2CD1367G2H-LIU 4mm PL is an IP surveillance camera featuring a 4 mm fixed lens and Power over Ethernet (PoE) support for simplified network installation. Designed for both indoor and outdoor monitoring, this camera integrates with network video recorders (NVRs) and VMS platforms to provide continuous video capture for perimeter, retail and office environments. The camera’s fixed 4 mm lens provides a predetermined field of view suitable for entrance monitoring and medium-distance coverage where reliable, always-on imaging is required.

Advantages

This camera offers straightforward PoE connectivity that reduces cabling complexity and installation time while maintaining stable power and data transmission over a single Ethernet cable. The fixed 4 mm lens ensures consistent framing without the need for mechanical adjustment, and the unit is compatible with common network recording and management systems for centralized monitoring. Durable construction and design for indoor and outdoor placement enable flexible deployment in varied surveillance scenarios.

Suitable for

• Entrance and lobby monitoring
• Perimeter and outdoor coverage
• Retail floor and point-of-sale observation
• Office space and corridor surveillance

Key specifications

• Optics: 4 mm fixed lens providing a medium field of view
• Network: IP camera with Ethernet connectivity and PoE support
• Installation: Suitable for indoor and outdoor mounting (weather-resistant design)
• Integration: Compatible with NVRs and VMS platforms for network recording and management
• Use case: Continuous video monitoring for security and situational awareness

How to use

Mount the camera at the desired monitoring point and connect it to the local network using a single Ethernet cable if using PoE, or provide separate power if PoE is not available. Configure network settings and integrate the device with your NVR or VMS according to the management system’s instructions. Adjust camera orientation and verify the field of view for the 4 mm fixed lens to ensure it covers the intended area. Test live view, recording schedules, and motion detection or event-triggered recording features through the chosen management software.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, install the camera at an elevation and angle that minimizes direct exposure to harsh weather and strong backlight; use PoE-enabled switches or midspans certified for network cameras to ensure consistent power delivery. Regularly check firmware updates from the camera vendor and maintain NVR/VMS backups to preserve recorded footage and system stability.
