The InLine Keystone RJ45 jack/socket is an unshielded Cat.6A female-to-female keystone insert supplied as a pack of eight. Designed for standard keystone wall plates and patch panels, the compact plastic housing measures approximately 14.4 mm wide, 30 mm deep and 20.6 mm high. Each unit has a coloured front for quick visual identification in network cabinets and structured cabling installations, and supports Cat.6A performance for high-speed Ethernet links.

How to use

Press the keystone jack into a compatible keystone opening on a wall plate or patch panel until it snaps into place. Connect Ethernet patch cables to the RJ45 female ports on each side as required by the installation. Ensure cables are terminated and rated for Cat.6A to maintain full performance. When removing, depress the retention clips and pull the module out of the keystone aperture.

Recommendations

For best results, use with Cat.6A-rated cables and patch cords and mount in compatible keystone panels or plates. Plan port labelling in advance and use the coloured fronts to match port assignments. Avoid exposing the plastic housing to direct mechanical stress or prolonged UV exposure.
