It connects HDMI sources such as PCs, notebooks, digital receivers, or media players to displays or projectors that have a DVI-D input (18+1).

How to use

Connect the HDMI male end to the HDMI output of your source device and the DVI-D male end to the DVI input of your display. Ensure both devices are powered off when inserting connectors to avoid hot-plug issues, then power on the devices and select the appropriate input on the display. Adjust the video resolution on the source device to match the display’s native resolution; the cable supports resolutions up to 1080p.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources (large power supplies, unshielded transformers). Avoid tight bends near the connectors and secure the cable to prevent strain on connector ends. Note that DVI-D does not carry audio; if audio is required, use a separate audio connection or a device that outputs audio via another port.
