How to use

Route the cable between the optical network termination point and the target device, avoiding sharp bends and compressive stress. Insert the LC connector into the LC receptacle and the SC connector into the SC adapter until each connector clicks or seats firmly. Verify direction and keyed alignment when mating APC connectors to ensure the angled ferrule faces correctly. After installation, test the link with appropriate optical power meters or insertion-loss testers to confirm performance against expected loss and return-loss values.

Recommendations

Avoid tight bends below the cable's minimum bend radius and do not expose the cable to direct mechanical impact or prolonged UV exposure. Use dust caps on unused connectors and handle ferrules by the connector body to keep end-faces clean. For runs in areas with potential rodent activity or severe mechanical stress, consider additional conduit or protective routing.
