How to use

Route the InLine FTTH cable from the house transfer point to the optical modem (ONT) or patch panel, avoiding sharp bends and kinks; the minimum bend radius specified for single-mode fiber should be observed to prevent increased attenuation. Clean the LC/APC connector end-faces before mating using appropriate fiber cleaning tools and mate connectors to LC/APC ports with firm but gentle pressure until latched. For permanent installations, secure the cable along the route with suitable clips or conduits and allow service loops where needed for future maintenance or movement of equipment.

Recommendations

Do not exceed recommended bend radius or apply excessive tensile force during installation. Use a fiber inspection scope and cleaning wipes to verify connector end-face quality; verify optical performance with a test report or appropriate test equipment after installation. For splicing, strip and handle the armoured tube according to standard fiber preparation procedures and protect fusion splices with heat-shrink sleeves or splice trays.
