How to use

Point the infrared sensor at the centre of the forehead from a distance of 0.5–3 cm and press the measurement button. Read the result on the backlit LCD; the device will indicate if the measured value exceeds the programmed fever threshold. For object temperature, aim the sensor at the target and measure from the same distance. Replace batteries when low and follow the user manual for calibration and cleaning instructions.

Recommendations

For accurate readings, ensure the forehead is dry and free of sweat or cosmetics, avoid measuring immediately after physical activity or coming in from extreme temperatures, and allow the thermometer to acclimate to room temperature before use.
