InFocus IN1036 data projector 4600 ANSI lumens 3LCD WXGA

The InFocus IN1036 is a standard-throw 3LCD data projector with WXGA native resolution (1280x800) and 4600 ANSI lumens brightness. Designed for classrooms, meeting rooms and event spaces, it supports high-graphics resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 and video up to 2160p. The projector uses a lamp light source with an extended lifespan and provides manual focus and zoom for flexible installation.

Advantages

The projector offers multiple convenient input methods including Display over USB (USB-C or USB-A) for direct display from Windows laptops and Display over LAN for streaming across a local network. A Memory Viewer lets you play files, images and video with audio directly from a USB thumb drive. Built-in image correction tools handle horizontal and vertical keystone as well as six-point pincushion and barrel adjustment for projection onto uneven or curved surfaces. Additional features include logo capture and display, broad command-and-control compatibility, an advanced dynamic iris for improved contrast, and screen splicing for zooming into sections of the image.

How to use

Connect the projector to a Windows laptop or desktop using a USB-C or USB-A cable to use the Display over USB feature, or attach a USB thumb drive to the USB-A port to play media via the Memory Viewer. For networked display, connect both the projector and the Windows device to the same LAN and use the projector's network display function; RJ45 direct display over USB is available when no network is present. Adjust focus and zoom manually to obtain a sharp image, and use horizontal/vertical keystone and six-point pincushion & barrel correction to rectify distortion when projecting onto uneven or curved surfaces. Use the logo capture tool to set a custom startup image and configure command-and-control settings for integration with external control systems.

Recommendations

For best image quality, place the projector on a stable surface at the recommended throw distance for your screen size, keep the lamp and air filters clean according to manufacturer guidance, and use the dynamic iris and keystone/pincushion correction to optimize contrast and geometry. When using network display, ensure a stable LAN connection to minimize latency.
