How to use

Cut the required tube to length, slide it over the cable or joint and apply heat with a hot air gun or equivalent heat source. For 2:1 tubes expect the diameter to reduce to approximately half of the original size; for 3:1 adhesive-lined tubes expect shrinkage to about one third of the original diameter. Ensure even heating and maintain a suitable distance to avoid overheating the cable insulation.

Recommendations

Use a regulated hot air gun for consistent results; allow adhesive-lined tubes to cool before handling to ensure a secure bond. Select a tube diameter that, after shrinking, will fit snugly around the cable or connection.
