HDMI Gender Changer Microconnect HDM19F19MA2-8KU Black Gold Plated

The Microconnect HDM19F19MA2-8KU is a black HDMI gender changer with gold-plated contacts that converts a male HDMI connector to a female one with a 90° upward angled orientation. Designed for 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz signal rates, it allows connection between two HDMI cables or adapts a cable to a device with limited space while maintaining reliable signal transfer.

Advantages

Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure stable signal transmission. The 90° upward angle reduces strain on cables in tight installations and helps maintain connection integrity where straight plugs would be impractical. Compact, lightweight construction makes it easy to carry and install without adding significant bulk.

Suitable for

• Extending HDMI cable runs by joining two cables
• Adapting a male HDMI cable to a female port
• Installing HDMI connections in tight spaces or behind wall-mounted displays
• Home theatre, gaming consoles, and AV equipment supporting 8K/4K resolutions

Plug the male end of one HDMI cable into the female side of the gender changer and insert the male end of the other HDMI cable into the changer’s male connector, or connect the changer’s female side to a device with a male HDMI plug. Ensure connections are fully seated and oriented so the 90° angle relieves cable stress. Verify display settings and signal source to confirm the desired resolution and refresh rate are active.

Recommendations

Use this HDMI gender changer to adapt or extend HDMI connections in confined spaces and avoid exerting force on ports; for optimal performance, use high-quality HDMI cables rated for the required resolutions and avoid unnecessary chain connections that may degrade signal quality.
