HDMI Cable ShiverPeaks 77478-15SPP 15m

The ShiverPeaks 77478-15SPP 15m HDMI cable provides a long-reach wired connection between HDMI-equipped devices using standard HDMI Type A connectors on both ends. Designed for setups that require extended cable length without frequent signal repeaters, this blue cable supports a data transfer rate of 8.16 Gbit/s and uses gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable contact and reduce corrosion. The cable is intended for audio-visual signal transmission where a robust physical connection and consistent throughput are needed.

Advantages

This HDMI cable offers a 15 meter length that enables flexible placement of displays, projectors and source devices. Gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and resistance to oxidation. The specified data transfer rate of 8.16 Gbit/s is suitable for high-definition video and multichannel audio transmission within its bandwidth limits. The cable’s blue jacket helps visually identify the line among other cables in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs, monitors or projectors to Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, or media players over long distances
• Home theatre layouts where device placement requires a longer HDMI run
• Office meeting rooms and classroom AV setups with wall-mounted displays
• Temporary event installations where a visible, easy-to-trace cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A on both ends
• Data transfer rate: 8.16 Gbit/s
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: blue

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI output of the source device and the other HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI input of the display or receiver. Ensure both devices are powered off or in standby while connecting to avoid hot-plug issues, then power the devices and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. For optimal signal integrity over the 15 m length, avoid sharp bends, kinks, and close parallel runs with high-voltage cables.

Recommendations

For stable operation at longer runs, keep connectors clean and secure, route the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources, and verify device HDMI settings (resolution and refresh rate) to match the supported bandwidth. If signal degradation is observed at higher resolutions, consider using active HDMI extenders or shorter cable runs.
