Hard case B&W Cases Type 500

The Hard case B&W Cases Type 500 is a durable protective case with a removable pre-cut foam insert (SI) and egg crate foam in the lid for shock-resistant protection. The shell is made of polypropylene, features an automatic air pressure compensation valve, two latches, a carrying handle and a transparent name plate. The case is dustproof and watertight, performs in temperatures from -40° to +80° C and comes with a 30 years guarantee. Optional accessories include a black name plate and a carrying strap (item no. CS/500).

How to use

Open the latches and remove the lid to access the pre-cut foam insert. Customize the removable sponge insert by pressing out foam sections to match the shape of your equipment, place items into the cutouts and close the lid so the egg crate foam provides additional cushioning. Use the carrying handle or optional strap for transport and make sure the latches are fully secured before moving the case. The air pressure compensation valve operates automatically during altitude or temperature changes.

To maintain protection, avoid exposing the case to prolonged direct sunlight and check the latches and valve for damage before regular use. For safe stacking, align cases evenly and do not exceed recommended stack height for your storage setup.
