How to use

Place the Orbit 7190g on the checkout counter or hold it in hand to scan large items; the scanner’s shape supports both presentation and handheld scanning. For scanning merchandise, present the barcode to the omnidirectional laser pattern; for smartphone coupons or IDs, present the digital code to the area imager. Tilt the scan head within its 30° range if required to align with the barcode on a bulky or awkwardly shaped product. Connect the scanner to the POS using the appropriate cable—USB, RS-232 or keyboard wedge—and allow the unit to auto-detect the interface. If using USB, the scanner can receive power directly through the connection.

Recommendations
