How to use

Connect the Gryphon I GD4500 to a host system using the supplied USB cable. Place the scanner on a desk or stand if hands-free presentation is required; Motionix™ will detect operator movement and switch to the appropriate mode automatically. Aim the 4-dot aimer at the barcode and press the trigger (or present the barcode within the aimer field for presentation mode). The imager reads both 1D and 2D codes; confirmation is provided by the device’s indicators and host software. For disinfectant-ready Healthcare models, follow facility protocols for cleaning and disinfection of the enclosure.

Recommendations

Use the warm-white illumination to scan colored or low-contrast labels and position barcodes within the 4-dot aimer for precise reads.
