Gedore 1761102 magnetic 1/2 inch socket holding rail

External socket rail for Gedore tool carts that accepts 12 or 16 standard commercial 12.5 mm (1/2") sockets. Two female square adaptors accept ratchets, sliding T-bars, extensions and similar drive accessories. A strong magnet secures the socket rail to ferrous metal surfaces, and additional mounting holes allow attachment to walls or non-ferrous materials. Sockets are locked on the square drive by a ball mechanism that secures them when rotated 90°, and can be unlocked and removed by rotating 90° in the opposite direction. Delivered without tools.

How to use

Place the rail on a ferrous metal surface for immediate magnetic attachment or fasten it to a wall or non-ferrous surface using screws through the provided mounting holes. Insert sockets onto the external squares until the ball-lock engages, then rotate 90° to lock. To remove a socket, rotate it 90° in the opposite direction to release the ball and pull the socket off. Attach ratchets or extensions directly into the female adaptors when needed.
