Freestanding rack Digitus ® DN-19 22U-8/8-B-1

The DIGITUS Unique Series freestanding rack DN-19 22U-8/8-B-1 is a 22U network cabinet designed and developed in Germany for demanding IT infrastructure solutions. The cabinet measures 800 x 800 mm with a height of 1164 mm, a maximum load capacity of 800 kg and an IP20 protection rating for indoor installations. It features removable side panels and doors, a collapsible design for full disassembly, and two pairs of galvanized 19" profile rails with adjustable depth and RU markings readable in both directions.

Advantages

The cabinet uses up to 1.5 mm thick sheet steel with electrostatic powder coating in jet black (RAL 9005). It has a special roof construction with a detachable lid suited for mounting a fan module, a pivot-lever lock system on the front door (adapter for profile half cylinder included), and a sliding cable entry with rubber sealing in the base. How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level surface and secure it if required by your site regulations. Remove or unlock the front door and side panels to install equipment on the 19" profile rails, adjusting rail depth as needed. Route cables through the brush-equipped roof and floor inlets or the sliding cable entry at the base; use the vertical cable channels and brush management panels to organize cabling. If active cooling is needed, mount compatible fan modules in the specially designed roof area with the detachable lid. Reassemble doors and panels and engage the pivot-lever lock using the provided adapter for a profile half cylinder if required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, distribute equipment weight evenly across the cabinet and leave sufficient space for airflow around heat-generating devices. Use the brush inlets and vertical cable channels to keep cabling organized, and consider installing a fan module in the roof for improved ventilation when mounting power-dense equipment.
