EFB Elektronik PRO-2480GR.G1SV is a 19" freestanding network rack with 24U capacity designed for server rooms and network installations. The cabinet features a steel-sheet housing with a screwed frame, is delivered completely pre-assembled and can be dismounted; it provides self-ventilation and carries a maximum load of 1000 kg. Inside the cabinet there are four galvanised 19" profiles (two front, two rear) with step-less depth adjustment and contrarwise numbering of rack units. The front door has a 5 mm certified safety glass window and a lockable handle with a profile half-cylinder according to DIN18252 / EN 1303; the half-cylinder (30/10 mm) is exchangeable by the customer.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level surface and, if required, bolt it to the floor or platform for additional stability. Install equipment into the galvanised 19" profiles, adjusting the profile depth as needed for proper mounting and cable routing. Use the contrarwise RU numbering on the profiles to track rack unit positions from both front and rear. Operate the door via the turning handle and secure access with the supplied profile half-cylinder; replace the half-cylinder with a compatible 30/10 mm cylinder if a different keying system is required.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the cabinet in indoor environments matching its IP20 rating, provide adequate front and rear clearance for airflow, and distribute equipment weight evenly to stay within the 1000 kg maximum load. Consider additional active cooling or cable management accessories if high-density equipment or heavy cabling is installed.
