The Fractal Design Prisma AL-12 is a 120 mm ARGB case fan that combines addressable RGB illumination with a white semi-opaque outer ring and fan blades for an even, full-surface glow. It supports motherboard RGB software control from ASUS Aura, Gigabyte Fusion, MSI Mystic Light and ASRock Polychrome, and can be used with the Adjust R1 controller for manual switching of colors, brightness and motion effects. The fan is designed for quiet operation with vibration-damping corners, low-noise LLS bearings and PWM control for precise speed management.

How to use

Install the Prisma AL-12 in a standard 120 mm fan mounting location in your case using the supplied screws. Connect the power and PWM cable to a compatible fan header on your motherboard for speed control and to the ARGB header for addressable lighting. If using motherboard software, enable the corresponding RGB control (ASUS Aura, Gigabyte Fusion, MSI Mystic Light or ASRock Polychrome) to synchronize effects. To use manual control, connect the fan to the Adjust R1 controller and operate colors, brightness and motion effects via the controller buttons.

Recommendations

For quiet operation, enable PWM control in your motherboard BIOS or software and set an appropriate fan curve. When synchronizing ARGB lighting, ensure your motherboard has a 3-pin addressable RGB header and the correct vendor software installed. Use the Adjust R1 controller only if your setup requires manual on-device color/brightness changes.
