Food storage box ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE Rectangular glass 1.6 L, plastic lockable lid, oven/microwave safe

The ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE Rectangular 2 L vacuum glass container is designed for practical meal prep and long-term food storage. Made of robust borosilicate glass with an airtight lid, this 2-litre rectangular box (144 × 214 × 128 mm) lets you store, see and organise ingredients or prepared meals in the fridge, freezer or pantry while preserving taste and nutrients.

Advantages

The vacuum storage box reduces oxidation and odours, helping food stay fresh up to five times longer compared with conventional non‑vacuum storage. Its borosilicate glass body is microwave-, freezer- and oven‑proof, dishwasher‑safe and transparent for easy identification of contents. Vacuum sealing is quick when used with the compatible FRESH & SAVE Vacuum Pump (sold separately, item 36801-000-0). The lid includes a QR code for tracking contents via the ZWILLING Culinary World App.

How to use

Place cooled food or ingredients in the glass container, close the lid securely and remove air with the compatible FRESH & SAVE Vacuum Pump (sold separately) by pressing the pump button until the indicator shows a vacuum. Store the sealed container in the fridge, freezer or cupboard. Reheat in the microwave with the lid removed or oven‑proof with the lid off; the borosilicate glass tolerates temperature changes but allow the container to cool before exposing it to rapid temperature shifts.

Recommendations

For best results, cool hot foods to room temperature before vacuum sealing, label stored items using the QR code and the ZWILLING Culinary World App to track shelf life, and avoid vacuum sealing carbonated liquids or raw eggs in their shells.
