How to use

Install the FR80 Salmon at the checkout or self-service counter and connect via the supplied RS-232 or USB interface. Position the unit so the large scan window faces the presented goods or mobile screens. For typical operation, present barcodes through the scan window at normal hand speed; the scanner’s high motion tolerance and wide depth of field reduce the need for precise alignment. Use the RJ expansion port if an additional scanner is required for bulky items or a customer-facing loyalty scanner. Configure audible tones or deactivate buttons using the user manual or EasySet configuration software as needed.

Recommendations
