Kitchen scissors 18cm 1075051

Fiskars 1075051 kitchen scissors are an 18 cm pair with stainless steel blades and the brand's orange plastic handles, meant to live in the kitchen drawer for jobs a knife handles badly: snipping herbs and spring onions, opening vacuum packs and bags, trimming fat or pastry, cutting baking paper and string.

At 18 cm they are compact enough for a utensil pot yet long enough for a decent cut. Stainless steel blades resist rust from kitchen moisture and wash easily by hand; rinse and dry them after cutting anything acidic or salty. If you need scissors that come apart for cleaning or heavy poultry shears, look for those features specifically, as this listing describes a standard kitchen shear.

• Length 18 cm
