The high-efficiency LED light source produces a cool white light (approximately 6000–6500K) that cuts through smoke and darkness. A built-in nickel-cadmium battery provides 3.6V / 1.5Ah of backup power, automatically engaging when mains power fails. The unit supports both maintained (continuous illumination) and non-maintained (illumination only during power failure) operating modes, selectable via a simple switch. Charging time is 24 hours for a full battery, and the automatic self-test function plus manual test button ensure the light is always ready for action.
