Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Shipping & Returns

The Schleich WILD LIFE Giraffe male is a hand-painted, high-quality plastic figurine designed for children aged 3 and up. This multicolour model captures characteristic giraffe features — long neck, patterned coat and realistic posture — and is intended for imaginative play and educational exploration of African wildlife. The figure is part of the Schleich WILD LIFE series and is suitable for home playsets, classroom activities and display within a child-safe environment.

Advantages

This giraffe figure is made from durable plastic with detailed sculpting and careful paintwork to reflect natural markings and proportions. The size and solid construction make it robust for everyday play, while the lifelike design supports learning about animal anatomy and behaviour. The product is suitable for young children from age 3 due to its age-appropriate design and safety-conscious manufacturing.

Suitable for

  • Imaginative play in home playsets and dioramas
  • Early childhood education and wildlife lessons
  • Collecting with other Schleich animal figures
  • Storytelling and role-play activities

Key specifications

  • Material: high-quality plastic
  • Finish: hand-painted multicolour detailing
  • Recommended age: 3 years and up
  • Product type: animal figurine (giraffe, male)

How to use

Use the giraffe figure as part of play scenes, educational displays or as a collectible item. Incorporate it into storytelling or teaching sessions to illustrate facts about giraffes, their physical traits and behaviour. Clean the figure with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap when needed; avoid submerging in water for extended periods to preserve the paint finish.

Recommendations

Store the figure away from direct sunlight and high heat to prevent fading or deformation. Supervise children under three years of age and check regularly for wear or small detached parts to ensure continued safe use.
